For Desert Pines, they had many early struggles but picked up a big spark after Davis grabbed an interception. Quarterback Travis Nafoa would capitalize with a 2-yard sneak as the score would move to 8-6 in favor of Virgin Valley.
Desert Pines defense started to heat up and after another stop, Nafoa threw what looked like a sure interception when Leon Flintroy jumped in front of the defender and raced 39-yards down to the 1-yard line. A short pass to Tim Hough along with a conversion moved the score to 14-8 for Desert Pines.
With the Jaguars rolling at the end of the second quarter, the team nearly scored again falling short at the 7-yard line to close the half.
Early in the third quarter, the Jaguars would give the Bulldogs another shot at getting back in the game when the Bulldogs Dillon Graves returned a fumble 41-yards for a score. Moving ahead 15-14, Virgin Valley seemed to gain confidence.
Midway through the third quarter, Desert Pines took full control. SaDarius Clayton would score from 17-yards out. With the score moving to 20-15 in favor of Desert Pines.
It would be Malik Davis' game from there following a fumble recovery on the kickoff. A 21-yard darting run, 77-yard explosive punt return and 29-yard burst would allow the Jaguars to add another 21-points to the board making the score 41-15 with 8:39 left in the fourth.
Virgin Valley finally added a late offensive score but it was too late as the Jags rolled to a 41 to 28 win to move to 4-3 on the season.
