Desert Pines' Wiley chooses the Golden Gophers

Although he hasn’t played a varsity down in over a year, Desert Pines three star athlete Cameron Wiley has become one of the most highly coveted player in the state this recruiting cycle. After visiting the Minnesota Golden Gophers in early June, Wiley is now off the board.

At 6’2 190, Wiley is a blazer with that is set to emerge at the running back position for the Jaguars as a senior but can project to any skill position on the football field. An explosive player, he has the physical skills to be a great all-around playmaker on the offensive side of the ball. His huge physical upside that is a major plus for a player with his overall versatility.

Wiley will be a showcase player for the Jaguars as a senior. He choose the Gophers with 12 other offers on the board including Duke, Arizona, Nevada, UNLV, Kansas, Washington State, Utah and Oregon.
