NevadaPrepReport's 2022 Receiver & Tight End Prospects to Watch

With Southern Nevada high school football players forced to sit out the 2020 season due to Covid-19, many seniors will be facing their first action on the field since their sophomore season. Here is a look ahead to the 2021 season and the seniors projected to shine as recruitable prospects among the receivers & tight ends:

A Washington Huskies commit, Bernard is a large framed skilled receiver with great speed and acceleration on the edge. He is dominant on the off the snap with great feet and soft hands showing the ability to create mismatch on the edge or shifting inside to the slot. He logged 969-yards and 14-scores as a sophomore.

Sharing receptions with a 5-star tight end and two 4-star receivers, Solomon continued to showcase his skill as a well rounded playmaker with reliable hands. Solomon has quick feet and is a threat to create big plays with the ball in his hands.

A Utah State Aggie commit, Solomon has logged 821-yards and reached the end zone 5 times as a freshman and sophomore.


An edge player, Shoels is a tough receiver with speed, acceleration and toughness. He can make plays after the catch and shows the competitiveness to be a workhorse on third downs.

Holding an offer from Northern Arizona, he is a prospect to follow this fall.


With the canceled 2020 season, Pabon lacks the varsity snaps but has elite speed along with a great speed on the edge. He took the 5A 400 meter title and finished #2 to teammate 4-star teammate Zachariah Branch in the 200 meter dash. Pabon is capable of putting up great numbers for the Gaels as a senior and currently holds a Southern Utah offer.

Ingebretson proved to be a highly productive threat in the slot in the shortened season for the Northern Nevada area logging 458-yards and 3-touchdowns on 38 catches over a 5 game span. With smooth feet, soft hands and impressive quickness, he will be a player the continue to watch as a senior.

William is another player that lacks varsity experience but he is a large framed player that is well built and brings the athletic ability to be a highly productive as a senior.

Tight Ends

A very well rounded player at tight end, Patterson showcases impressive skill as a blocker on the edge and consistent hands as an interior pass catcher. He has good speed and size to go along with impressive quickness. He will be a player to watch with an extended fall season.

Bwire hasn’t had a ton of varsity snaps but brings athleticism on the edge with standout skills as a blocker. He has strong hands with great balance showing the ability to sustain blocks consistently and the speed to get up field on the second and third level.

A potential standout as a pass catcher as well, he is currently committed to the Air Force Academy.


More of a tradition blocking style tight end on the edge, Rodahaffer displays athleticism and speed as well. Projected as a tight end, he is also a player to watch on the defensive side of the ball.
