4. LB/S Nathan Estimada Sierra Vista 6'2 190
4.57 40 4.34 shuttle 37.7 vj 19 reps
Another elite athlete that isn't expected to qualify as of now from high school. He will be one to watch and is a sure fire bounce back if he goes to a junior college.
5. TE/DE Lyle Gardner Churchill County (Fallon) 6'4 235
5.11 40 4.6 shuttle 20.6 vj 17 reps
2005: 18 rec 302 yds 5 tds 68 tackles 1 sack

5.03 40 4.65 40 23.9 vj
69-150 1345 yds 15 tds 7 int 114 car 770 yds 15 tds
Rath has an offer from Fresno State but is torn between football and baseball as of now. He is still hoping to get a shot at playing both and look for him to decide late.
7. FS Jovan Massey Las Vegas 5'11 175
The top safety in Nevada but isn't expected to qualify. He is an excellent player and one to look out for down the road.
8. QB/Athlete Tony Maldonado Reed 5'11 170
4.53 40 4.41 shuttle 30.3 vj 13 reps
2005: 75-160 47% 1210 yds 7 td 10 int 106 car 647 yards 6 tds

Career: 208-378 55% 3530 yds 31 tds 14 int 203 car 1050 yds 9 tds
Desire to play quarterback has kept him off the board and he may even land at a junior college.
9. DB/WR Archie Kovich North Valley 6'1 175
2005: 37 tackles 5 int 40 car 388 yds 4 tds 6 rec 207 yds 3 tds

2005: 42 tackles 3 sacks
2006: 53 tackles 4 sacks

Big and athletic interior lineman with excellent upside but no offers so far.
11. QB Josiah Casella Valley 6'3 180
2005: 64-113 56% 967 yds 17 tds 8 int 49 car 290 yds 3 td 1 rec 50 yds 1 td
2006: 127-230 55% 1821 yds 16 tds 12 int 107 car 438 yds 9 tds
Career: 191-343 56% 2788 yds 33 tds 20 int 155 car 728 yds 11 tds 1 rec 50 yds 1 td
Casella has great tools as the top pure quarterback prospect in the state with good speed but a down year by his team kept him out of the spotlight. He has a chance to pick up some late attention and is a player that should develop into a star wherever he lands.
12. DE/LB Christian McMillan Shadow Ridge 6'3 230
4.94 40 4.52 shuttle 25.4 vj 7 reps
74 tackles 7 sacks 3 int 73 car 448 yds 7 tds

Excellent student and explosive athlete. Hoping to walk on at UNLV as he prefers to play at home

Rangy linebacker with excellent speed and tackling ability, expected to land at Victor Valley or Feather River junior college.
15. DB Ronnie Potts Valley 6'1 180

Excellent cover corner with impressive ability on the edge likely headed to the junior college route.
16. SS Eric Brinkley Cimarron 5'10 190
2005: 71 tackles 4 sacks 2 int 120 car 875 yds 8 tds
2006: 77 tackles 3 sacks 1 int 111 car 864 yds 10 tds
Career: 148 tackles 7 sacks 3 int 231 car 1739 yds 18 tds
Undersized high school middle linebacker with excellent speed timed at 4.65. Likely to play safety in the future and leader of a defense that only allowed 3 points per game. Three teammates where signed on signing day.
17. MLB Brent Koontz Douglas 6'0 220
Northern Nevada Defensive MVP
4.5 shuttle 24.6 vj 19 reps
3.25 GPA 19 ACT
Koontz is qualified and has an excellent nose for the ball. He isn't a sideline to sideline player on the next level but he is dominating between the tackles.
18. OG/NG Kenrick Lambey Canyon Springs 6'2 320
5.79 40 5.05 shuttle
Lambey dominates the line of scrimmage and is a pure interior lineman with a nasty streak. He had early attention from Cal and ASU but is still on the board as of now.
19. CB Dan Burcham Reno 5'11 180
4.53 40 4.53 shuttle 33.5 vj
Tremendous athlete and character player that is fully qualified. He is a playmaker but teams have yet to offer.
20. WR Henry (Hank) Thorns Valley 5'9 175
2005: 9 rec 132 yds 3 tds 30 car 116 yards 0 td 8-19 301 yards 3 td
2006: 48 rec 830 yds 9 tds
Career: 57 rec 962 yds 16.9 avg 12 tds
One of Nevada's most talented basketball players leading Southern Nevada in points per game and ranked near the top in assist. He has the most potential on the football field where he has excellent speed and quickness but is still raw around the edges. Thorns is probably the biggest sleeper on the list.
21. QB Travis Wood Dayton 6'2 180
3A Player of the Year
5.00 40 4.65 shuttle 30 vj 11 reps
2003: 18-33 44 yds 3 td 0 int
2004: 121-247 1959 yds 20 td 10 int
2005: 147-283 2452 yds 19 tds 9 int 10 car 72 yds 2 tds
2006: 109-202 1573 yds 14 td 13 int 37 car 171 yds 5 tds 71 tck 1 sack 7 int
Career: 395-765 52% 6028 yds 56 tds 32 int 71 tackles 1 sack 7 int
Wood is an excellent athlete and very smart player that can be a great player where ever he lands but the knock on him is that he lacks special qualities. He has intangibles that makes him a winner and if he had a quality wide receiver to get the ball to this season his numbers would tell a better story.
22. CB Talmus Ewell Spring Valley 5'10 170
4.78 40 4.53 shuttle 32.5 vj 10 reps
45 tackles 8 int 312 yds 2 tds 25.9 KOR avg 13.1 PR avg
Ewell was Southern Nevada's best corner this season and is a playmaker on defense with good potential. It's unknown where he will land as of now but he is a player that could contribute right away for some programs.
23. LB Paul Vassallo Bishop Manogue 6'2 200
2005: 57 tackles 2 int 3 rec 38 yds 2 tds
2006: 72 tackles 4 sacks 2 int 11 rec 157 yds 2 tds
Career: 129 tackles 4 sacks 4 int 14 rec 195 yds 4 tds
Vassallo is an excellent outside linebacker with good speed and may be a late signee. He is also a prep school candidate that should be a bounce back next season.
24. LB Jesse Snodgrass Galena 6'2 210
Snodgrass also impressed for the Northern Nevada Champion Galena Grizzlies. He has excellent hands and speed that allowed him to double as a big play tight end. He is also a sure tackler and shed blocker well.
25. OG Stefan Harwell Sierra Vista 6'2 320
3.4 GPA 20 ACT
Mr. Pancake Man was an excellent player at the line of scrimmage with good leverage and the speed to get downfield. Look for him to get a walk on opportunity at one of the instate schools
