QB Jamaal Evans heads upstate committing the Nevada

The Nevada Wolf Pack program has done an outstanding job evaluating quarterbacks and grabbed another outstanding talent to add to the fold in Centennial’s Jamaal Evans.

Making a commitment over the weekend, Evans displayed outstanding physical skills as a first year starter as a junior as he passed for 1865-yards and added another 647-yards on the ground while leading the Bulldogs to the playoffs. Along the way he accounted for 36-total touchdowns as a dangerous threat with his arm or legs.

A slinger, Evans has the velocity to put the ball into tight spaces and throws very well on the move. He produced just four interception in 2015 with a huge season expected as a senior.

Still under the radar of major program, Evans also garnered offers from Idaho, UNLV and Adams State before taking his name off the board leading in the the summer.

Evans cited Nevada high powered offense and his developing relationship with the staff as the key to his spring commit.
