50 players make a decision on NSD
This recruiting cycle saw 19 players that originally started their high school career in Nevada sign with FBS programs on National Signing Day.
A few left their decision for the last second as Jarvis Polu made the last second switch to Navy over Army and former Bishop Gorman star lineman decommitted from BYU in the fall before quietly submitting his name to the Cougars staff on NSD.

Gael quarterback Randall Cunningham was signee left off the list though his status was known early as he has opted to compete as a long jumper at USC.
Among the FBS class, there are a few potential instant impact players in the mix as Nacua, Michael Hughes, Zack Singer and Casey Hughes are among players considered ready to play right away.
Overall, the FBS class was had great overall numbers and depth. The impact of the class will be felt more in the future and there are plenty of players to follow as they develop.

Only tree players joined the FCS level this recruiting cycle in former Truckee star Morgan Nevin joined Sacramento State for the spring and Weber State rolled the dice on Shamir Geisinger.
Defer has been one of the state's elite pass rushers and should find a spot in the linebacker rotation for Montana during his career.
Nevin is expected to be an immediate contributor for Hornets while Geisinger isn't a kid that hit the radar but he has the speed and physical potential to develop into a future impact player.

The D2 level should benefit from plenty of high quality player that were skimmed over by larger school. There were plenty of high quality linemen still available late that should rise to become starters in the future with focused work in the weight room.
Dixie State grabbed Nevada Player of the Year Tyler Newman. If he maintains his high school magic, he can be a key player for the program in the future with his impressive intelligence.
Linebacker J Henderson, Danny Otuwa and Demarrius Oliver are other key players to watch along with a host of defensive backs.

Several player signed with NAIA schools including a major haul for high powered Southern Oregon. Lantz Worthington and Malik Davis are great fits within the SOU style of offense and should eventually move into the lineup during their career.
The program also grabs a potential impact defender in Isiah Carter, Carter is a high level player with great speed but lack of size limited his options.

Many decided to put off the SAT/ACT test until January making them unrecruitable as they have yet to qualify but you could see them added to four year rosters in the fall.
