Early Signing Day see a large number of players with Nevada ties sign

Nevada sees 22 football players from the area sign with college programs on the first day of the early signing period, 18 directlyout of state high schools. With Bishop Gorman’s Cyrus Moss and Desert Pines’ Jovante Barnes expected to declare before school resumes along with dozens of stars awaiting the February Signing Day, the 2022 class has proven to be impressive and deep.

Air Force

TE Jeremiah-Joseph Bwire Bishop Gorman

A strong blocker and well rounded athlete, Bwire will look to make his mark with the Falcons.


Auburn

CB Keionte Scott Snow College (Democracy Prep)

Scott started his high school varsity experience at Democracy Prep before finishing his high school career at Helix (CA). He made an immediate impact at Snow College and will look to continue to shine in the SEC.


Boston College

RB Cam Barefield Bishop Gorman

Barefield has been a standout since arriving at Bishop Gorman as a sophomore and should give the Eagles a productive option out of the backfield during his career.

OT Siope Vatikani Bishop Manogue

Hayes changed his commitment from Nebraska in the final week. He had a stellar high school career topping 2400-yards rushing as a sophomore and 1700 as a senior. He joins talented former Gael Jayden Ott as the duo enter a deep backfield.

The Miners Vatikani is another Cal signee that will look to be an impact player along the offensive line.

A versatile and explosive athlete, Smalley is an instate addition that will have ever opportunity to develop into an impact player in the future.


New Mexico State

WR Johnathan Brady Bishop Gorman

Brady has outstanding speed and separated himself among a talented group of high school pass catchers. He should be a great addition to the Aggie receiving and return teams.

OT Jake Taylor Bishop Gorman

An elite high school lineman with tenacity and outstanding athleticism, Taylor is a player that will look to develop into the next star among the Oklahoma offensive line.

OLB Anthony Jones Liberty (Arbor View HS)

The Ducks grabbed a physical run stuffer and high upside athlete with the signing of Liberty’s defensive duo. The Ducks aren't in need of immediate impact players but both will have the opportunity to develop into key players over the course of their career.

QB Jayden Maiava Liberty (Sierra Vista HS)

OT Noah McKinney Coronado

Maiava brings depth to a youth heavy group of passers while McKinney is an athletic lineman with upside on the edge or interior. They join a UNLV team looking to turn the corner in the Mountain West.
