Nevada 2020 recruiting: Offensive Line Prospects to Watch

With another great group of offensive line prospects prepping to take the field in the next three classes, here is a breakdown of Nevada’s key prospects to follow:

A great athlete on the edge with an outstanding frame, Wright is a long armed tackle with impressive balance. A great pass blocker with smooth feet, he is a prototype player at tackle that can develop into an elite player in college.

A recent USC commit, Wright is one of the elite prospects in Nevada.


With explosive hips and strong hands, Engel is a versatile offensive line prospect that can develop on the interior or the edge in college. An excellent run blocker, he has the athletic ability to remain on the edge with a great punch and a mean streak once engaged.

Holding three offers, he is a player that can continue to rise as a senior.


A good overall athlete, Overland is a standout high school tackle that will likely shift inside in college. He is a scrappy player in the trenches with that can pick up blocks downfield and will continue to grow on the field as a senior

With upside he logged a UNLV offer last season and is a player to watch as a senior.


A physical player at guard, Maluia is a rising prospect that plays with great strength and balance on the interior showing the ability to explode at the snap. He has watched his offers grow during the off-season with the talent to surge this recruiting cycle.

A rural Nevadan, Wallace is a bit raw in some areas physically but he is a tough player on the edge with high physical upside as a right tackle prospect. A great student, he plays with great instincts and showing that ability to dominate opponents with good footwork to go along with great length.

Being off the beaten path outside of Las Vegas, he is a player that should see offer begin to flow this upcoming season.


Underclassmen to Watch      

One of the top tackle prospects in the 2021 class, Savea shows the athleticism and quick hands be a dominant player in the trenches with very impressive speed. With great length and long arms, he has garnered a number of early offers from across the country.

Rising as one of the elite linemen in the 2022 class, Vatikani is a versatile player on the offensive line that stood out as an edge blocker as a freshman with the ability to develop at any position on the line. Already holding six early offers, he is a player to follow this season.

An impressive athlete on the edge, Moser is another versatile young offensive line prospect that can is a player to watch. He is a strong blocker that can also develop as a center in the future showing the ability to play with good leverage as both a run and pass blocker.

A rising sophomore, Vailea has the ability to develop on either side of the ball be primarily stood out as a mauler on the offensive line.

Other 2020 Prospects to Watch      

Another rural Nevadan, Perkins is a great blocker in the trenches showing the foot speed to get out to the second and third level to go along with great position versatility. Showcasing a great motor and lateral quickness, he is another hidden gem near the border of Utah that should land among the 2020 signees.

A massive lineman with impressive athletic ability, Brown is a player that stands out on either side of the football but will likely land as an offensive guard in college. He has great foot quickness and hand speed showing the ability to get out into space as a lead blocker.

Look for Brown to also garner looks as nose guard defensively.


A pure offensive guard, Vea brings power and tenacity on the interior along with good quickness. He has the ability to be a dominant player as a senior showcasing great strength at the point of attack.

A member of Pahrump’s very impressive front line last season, McGee is a physical player on the interior that shows the ability to be explosive off the snap and get out in space. With good bulk and power, he is another rural Nevada linemen to watch.

Expected to be a key for the Greenwaves’ explosive offense, Otuafi is a good athlete in the trenches that should blossom as a senior on both sides of the ball.

A massive interior lineman, Eckhart-Davis has the frame and power to garner options as a senior.

A strong blocker on the edge, Pancheri anchor that edge for one of the state's top passing attack.

A powerful interior blocker with plenty of heft, Danielson is a people mover in the middle that should garner looks.
