WR R.J. McCarter Bonanza 6’1 175

41 rec 838 yards 20.4 avg 10 tds

A big play receiver that finished in the top 10 in receiving yards this season, McCarter has very good speed and the ability to haul in tough catches. Showing a knack for making plays downfield, he does a good job tracking down the ball has the ability to make plays after the catch. He lacks refined skills as a route runner but he has the change of direction to develop and a raw frame that has room for physical development.

McCarter can develop into a productive pass catcher at any level in college with the upside to develop into a primary pass catcher.

Underclassmen

LB Josh Wilson Bonanza 6’0 205 (2018)

12 rec 214 yards 17.8 avg 2 tds (68 yards rushing)

Wilson's STG Highlights

Wilson is a standout athlete on both sides of the ball with the physical skills to be highly productive as he continues to develop. He shows good tackling skills on defense and should be his team’s primary offensive weapon on offense as a senior.

CB Joey Fox Bonanza 5’10 175 (2018)

Fox's STG Highlights

A skilled player in man coverage that shows high confidence and impressive speed, Fox is a physical tackler on the edge as well. He has great feet and change-of-direction in coverage that makes him a great player to watch in the defensive backfield in the 2018 class.

WR Jaden Mitchell Desert Oasis 5’11 175 (2018)

625 total yards 5 tds

Mitchell missed the game due to injury but produced an impressive junior season lining up at quarterback, running back and wide receiver this season. He has excellent feet and impressive speed with the ability to create in space with the ball in his hands.

LB Tyce Odunez Desert Oasis 6’4 210 (2018)

Odunez's STG Highlights

A long player at the second level, Odunez produced a very productive game off the edge as a sure tackler that plays well in space. He produced consistent pressure on the quarterback logging multiple sacks and has the speed to attack up the field. Just a junior, he also has the frame to put a hand in the grass off the edge as he develops.

S Kaleb Ramsey Desert Oasis 6’4 185 (2018)

Likely to be the top safety prospect in Nevada in the 2018 class, Ramsey is an athlete that can attack the ball carrier and deliver strong hits versus the run. He has the skill as a pass defender to play in space and the range to be great in zone coverage. With big play skill with the ball in his hands, Ramsey should see his opportunities grow quickly this off-season.

Others to Watch

RB Ricardo Hill Bonanza 5’11 185

144 car 1079 yards 7.4 avg 10 tds (9 rec 136 yards 1 td)

A physical back, Hill missed the contest due to injury but has been very productive as a senior. He lacks high end speed but runs with high effort and power that will make him a player to watch as a D2 or junior college prospect.

DE Kenyon Devers Bonanza 6’1 190

Dever produced an outstanding game off the edge getting after the quarterback with great burst and effort. He is a good tackler with instincts showing the skill to be disruptive as a defender.
