A state deep in raw athletic talent and versatile athletes, Nevada has a great group of players to watch this season that will be looking to make big impacts on the field.

Wiley had to sit it out last season but is on pace to emerge as a force as a senior. With outstanding speed, he has the ability to develop into a star at any skill position on the field. A potential game-breaker, he has a load of offers from top programs across the nation.

Everett lacks the playing time on the field after transferring across town from Silverado last season. He is a long player with explosive athletic talent that should have every chance to shine with the very talented Crusaders. Already committed to UNLV, he lacks a defined position.

A highly productive receiver as a sophomore with 47 receptions and 619 yards, Hayes moved to quarterback as a junior leading his team to 6-wins in another productive year. He is a good athlete that makes plays in space offensively showing a high level a competitiveness. He is also a sure tackler on defense that has great ball skills in the secondary.

Thickly built, Bigby is a player that can deliver big hits in the secondary showing great awareness closing in the ball in a hurry. He doubles as a receiving threat with the skill to make plays downfield and the feet to make plays after the catch.

Capable of developing at any skill position on offense or defense, Bigby is a standout player and great prospect.

The glue for the state title runner up Rattlers, DeLong is a tough and aggressive player on the football field. Brings good open field running ability and awareness, he doubles as a rangy defender with high upside in the secondary. Set to shoulder more of the load, DeLong should have a very productive senior season.

A slashing runner on the offensive side of the ball, Fofanah was a standout all season for the Cowboys. He has great feet and balance showing the ability to explode in the hole to reach the endzone as a running back. He is also a standout as a potential defensive back as well that could develop into a high level prospect in the 2020 class.

The Cowboys starting passer, Tauli’ili has a live arm and impressive footspeed. He can impact the game on either side of the football with an impressive frame. He will be on the watch list to take his passing skills to the next level as a junior but will be coveted regardless due to athletic upside.

Starting quarterback as a sophomore, Flowers played a bigger role on defense and saw time as a receiver as a junior. With the program expected to be more balanced on offense this season, he has a chance to shine.

A tough player at quarterback that has great leadership, Presser has shown a knack for contributing big plays in the clutch. With good speed and quickness, Presser is a player doesn’t shy away from contact. He has the opportunity to impress as a senior.

Turner has a great set of hands as a pass catcher with the ability to stand out on either side of the ball. He has the ability to make plays in space and covers ground with good speed. Primarily a receiver or corner prospect, he should take on a primary role as a senior.

Athletic with high effort and leadership, Rose had a strong junior year. He has a good arm as a passer with the ability to make plays downfield, the ability to create as an openfield runner and defensive upside in the secondary.
