The UNLV Rebels gained their third commitment of the 2017 recruiting cycle from one of the top linebacker in the state.

Thickly built Bishop Gorman inside linebacker Farrell Hester (6’0 240) decided to join his former high school Coach Tony Sanchez as he attempts to build a competitive program at UNLV.

A run stuffer, Hester is a physical defender that can deliver big hits and does a great job locating the football in space. He has the ability to shed blocks smoothly delivering 156-tackles, 4-sacks and 2-interception in back-to-back undefeated season that ended with #1 national rankings.
